Dr. Harivadan is a consultant Cardiovascular, Endovascular and Cardiothoracic surgeon, with special focus on minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, total arterial beating heart revascularisation, complex redo-heart surgery, valve repairs and congenital cardiac surgery.

He has completed his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. He did his MS (General Surgery) from Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation (Dr. PSIMS & RF), Gannavaram. He received his M.Ch (Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery) from Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati. He trained for Endovascular in Sir Ganga Ram Hospitals, New Delhi and also in Leipzig University Hospital, Germany.

Dr. Harivadan is appointed as an assistant professor in Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery at King George Hospital (KGH), Visakhapatnam and gained extensive clinical and teaching experience. He is part of a team that performed a full spectrum of surgeries.

He has many publications in national and international journals to his credit. He was awarded with best doctor in the distrct consequently for the year 2009 & 2010. He is the youngest research scholar in IDD forum for the year 2013 & 2014 and submitted best research papers in BioMicroWorld, 2015.

Dr. Harivadan areas of interests are Adult and Congenital cardiac surgeries, Valve repair, minimally invasive surgeries for mitral and aortic valve repair/replacement, Thoracic surgeries - Decortication, Lobectomy, Pneumonectomy, Vascular surgeries – Peripheral Bypass, Surgeries for Varicose veins.
